Kendall Tracy, General Manager of the San Francisco Miners, is not one for rash decisions or one-night stands. But when she finds herself alone in a hotel room with a heart-stoppingly gorgeous man-who looks oddly familiar-Kendall throws her own rules out the window…and they blow right back into her face. Drew McCoy should look familiar, he’s a star player for her team’s archrival the Seattle Sharks. Which would basically make Drew and Kendall the Romeo and Juliet of professional football…well, without all the dying. Not that it’s an issue. They agree to pretend their encounter never happened. Nothing good can come from it anyway, right? Drew’s not so sure. Kendall may be all wrong, but he can’t stop thinking about her and he finds that some risks are worth taking. Because the stakes are always highest when you’re playing for keeps.
I like this cover well enough, it's perfectly cute, but I do have to wonder why there's nothing football related anywhere on it. Oh well, I still want to read it ;)
I love sport themed romances as well, probably even for the same reason you do Jenny!
ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable cover, I really like it!
YES ALI! *high five for not being overly athletic*
DeleteIt's an adorable cover, that's for sure, though not really my type. Thanks for the post, Jenny! The synopsis has me intrigued.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for this one Hafsah!
DeleteI have to agree with you that it seems odd not to include football on the cover but perhaps the cover designers figured it wouldn't appeal to a romance audience as much as this particular cover does? It's cute, which I love, and I'm nearly always craving sports-related romance novels so I'll definitely be looking out for this one when it releases. Thanks for sharing, Jenny! :)
ReplyDeleteI wish it had something to suggest a sports romance, but its' very possible it was a marketing decision to make the cover football-free:) Glad I could bring it to your attention Keertana!
DeleteVery cute cover!!
ReplyDeleteYES:)
DeleteVery cute :)
ReplyDeleteAgreed:)
DeleteYep, cute but not overly eye-catching. And that title...my mind went straight into the gutter. (Which is okay for a romance, I guess.)
ReplyDeleteHehe. That's why I adore you Mary. You mind is often in the gutter right next to mine ;-)
DeleteThe face of the girl reminds me a bit of the blind chick in Pretty Little Liars. :P Their clothes matches, hehe! The guy is cute. Baah, lovely cover. xx
ReplyDeleteHe is cute isn't he? I want to see more of his face:)
DeleteIt's quite an adorable cover! I do hope you'll love it Jenny!
ReplyDeleteMe too Pili! It just sounds like something cute and fun and I need those types of reads in my life:)
DeleteYes! I'm gearing up for football season already, so this will be the perfect read:)
ReplyDeleteCute! I've had good luck with sports themed books like this, so I'm sure I'll give this one a try.
ReplyDeleteThe guy looks like Scott Speedman who I will always remember from Felicity. Loved that show and him!! *sigh*. Thanks for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteI also love sports themed romances so how could I possibly resist "the Romeo & Juliet of professional football"? *happy dance* :D
