In My Mailbox was created by Kristi over at The Story Siren and is a great way to see what other bloggers are reading and reviewing. I always love seeing what everyone else got for their week!
FOR REVIEW:
Touch of Frost by Jennifer Estep
The Vampire Stalker by Allison van Diepen
Ada Legend of a Healer by R.A. McDonald
BOUGHT:
City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare
White Cat by Holly Black
The Darkest Secret by Gena Showalter
A huge thanks to Jennifer Estep, Scholastic, and House of Lore Publishing for sending me books this week!
I really want The Vampire Stalker! White Cat is pretty good but Red Glove is even better in my opinion. Enjoy!

These look like great books! I can't wait to read The Darkest Secret.
ReplyDeleteThe Vampire Stalker looks good! I liked her Oracle of Dating series. I'm really curious to hear your take on White Cat. I'm still on the fence about that series.

Thanks for the shoutout. Hope you enjoy Touch of Frost.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm looking forward to Red Glove. I love books about conmen, and I thought White Cat was really good.

I'm excited for CoFA, hope you enjoy!

I think you're really going to like White Cat. Have you read the other Cassandra Claire books? I haven't, though I know a tiny bit about the story, I'm still trying to get my hands on the first book. However, I've seen a lot of CoFA tweets lately and they're really stressing me out. I don't need another Joss Whedon in my life who delights at killing off characters that I like - it makes me afraid to startle series. o_0
ReplyDeleteOoh, you've got The Vampire Stalker. I am super, super jealous. I shall be stalking your blog for your review. Great selection of books all round though - hope you enjoy every single one of them!
ReplyDeleteI totally need to get going on reading Black Cat.
ReplyDeleteAre you reviewing Prom & Prejudice soon?
I have it on my nightstand... must read it before it's due back at the library!
(Sadly, not even librarians get to avoid late fines.)
I'm on a total Austen-ite reading kick this year, not even sure why.
'Touch of Frost' sounds really awesome... I definitely want to check it out once it's released.
ReplyDeleteWow. I think literally everyone except me bought City of Fallen Angels. :P At least, it feels that way.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!!

I've got to get my hands on this book so I can know how to play it cool in case I'm very that lucky. Is it weird that the book gives me hope? *squee*
