Stick With Me!

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Hey Everyone!

I just wanted to do a quick post this morning about Bloglovin' for those of you who aren't familiar with it. Rumor has it that in a few weeks Google is going to do away with Google Reader, so any of you that rely on it to keep up with the latest happenings on your favorite blogs will lose that connection. It's unclear (at least to me, if someone knows for sure, please update us all in the comments!) as to whether this means Google Friend Connect will be departing along with Google Reader or if it will stay, but fear not because there's Bloglovin'.

I've been using Bloglovin' for weeks now and I really like it. I wasn't a big Google Reader person to start with so I can't really tell you all the differences between the two, but I do love getting my daily update email from Bloglovin' so I can scroll through and see what posts I might have missed when making my rounds. It makes me feel plugged in to this community I love so very much.

I can't even begin to explain how much I appreciate each and every one of you taking time out of your day to read my blog, it means the absolute world to me and there just wouldn't be a blog without all of you. I hope when Google Reader goes away that many of you will make the transition to Bloglovin' and continue to follow this blog and others you love, as being a part of this amazing community brings a smile to my face every single day.

Please be sure and check back at noon today as I have a special treat for fans of the New Adult genre and Cora Carmack in particular, but for now, this is me hugging all of you treasured readers, friends, and fellow bloggers.

    1. Hmmm. I have't had any trouble with it. I wonder if it's more compatible with Blogger? Who knows. I just hope half my readers don't go away when Google Reader does!

  2. I felt the same way about Google Reader. I was just never really comfortable with it, but I do like Bloglovin' a lot. It makes things easier, and it's so easy to create groups and keep track of different blogs. Love it.
You're in my 'Blogs I Adore' group, woman.

    1. Woo hoo! I like that when I registered for Bloglovin, it automatically had me follow all the blogs I was already following if they too had Bloglovin. Now I just need to go around and make sure I didn't miss anyone:)

  6. Followed you, Jenni. I didn't use Google Reader because it was messy, but I like Bloglovin'. I like the format and everything looks very clean.

    1. I never got on board with Google Reader either, it just overwhelmed me. Bloglovin is better I think:)

  7. I never use a reader but I am thinking that I am going to have to give this Bloglovin' a try! Everyone in the comments seems to love it so there must be something there. Following you!

    1. Yes Jenni! It's really easy, and it pulls your followers over with you if they've already registered. So I started out with 400 or so followers which was nice.

  8. I knew nothing of this! And as your stalker, I am ashamed I have missed another way to follow you.

    I shall correct it now!

  10. Great post. I follow you through Google Reader, but soon to be following via Feedly. I need to do something like this as well. I don't know if I've even signed up for Bloglovin. Eek...I need to look into that.

  11. You better believe I'm following you in every way possible haha I'm either a friend or a stalker. I'm not quite sure which at the moment though. Frankly, you're honoured either way ;)

  12. Of course Jenny! I've been following you for a while since I made the switch from blogger to wordpress.

  13. I never used google reader either, I was more of a GFC user (scrolling through blogger dashboard and all that tedious work), but now I'm an email follower. it's much easier that way. Though I love Bloglovin too, especially it's daily update email feature.

  14. I have been following you on Bloglovin since March, even though I have had a bunch of glitches with the site, I have found the customer service is great.

  15. I've been following you with both Bloglovin' and feedly since March when I first heard that Google reader was going away . I prefer feedly though...seems cleaner and neater to me..

  17. I registered my blog and moved the blogs I read over to it but haven't done anything else with it. I'm still in mourning for GR. Once I find something I like, I really don't like change. But change I must. I'll have to check and make sure all my fave blogs are in my Bloglovin feed -- and that includes you, dahling, of course!!

  18. I don't think I ever really used Google Reader to begin with. I don't use Bloglovin' either (I keep track of my favourite blogs by email or through my sidebar widget), but I still follow people anyway, just to be polite. ;)
