She wants to lie in her boyfriend’s arms forever. She wishes she could just ignore the Need, but she can’t. And as everyone important in her life begins to slowly forget her, she has to decide if she’ll fight the Need in order to remain herself—no matter how dark the consequences.
I'm quite intrigued with this one, it sounds like a different take on an angel mythology and one that promises all sorts of complex emotional reactions, so I'm looking forward to June!
I don't really like angel books, but this sounds like one I might go for.

ReplyDeleteIt reminds me a little of Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson. There's a city of Gods -- they have the ability to grant wishes or perform miraculous cures, but have to give up their own lives in order to do so.
