Blog Hop February 4-6


This week's question: What are you reading now and why are you reading it?

Right now I'm reading Legacies by Mercedes Lackey and Rosemary Edghill and it's a paranormal young adult story involving teenagers with magical gifts trying to solve the mystery of their missing classmates. I'm reading it because paranormal young adult is one of my favorite genres and somehow I never tire of stories dealing with magic and boarding schools!

    That one sounds good. I'm not sure why, but I always shy away from Mercedes Lackey. I have no rational explanation, especially considering she's well reviewed and I've never read anything by her before. I'll be looking forward to your review

    Hopping through. I've never read a book by Mercedes Lackey. This one sounds very interesting. I should read some of her books - she's a classic fantasy author.

    Oh my, I know what you mean. I could read YA paranormal fiction every day and never tire of it! And I do have a soft spot for boarding school stories, I'll admit. Have you read Libba Bray's A Great and Terrible Beauty series? It's magic + boarding school + victorian + amazingness. I could go on and on abotu how much I adore it, but I don't want to bore you!
