In My Mailbox was created by Kristi over at The Story Siren and is a great way to see what other bloggers are reading and reviewing. I always love seeing what everyone else got for their week!
FOR REVIEW:
Clarity by Kim Harrington
Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
Red Riding Hood by Sarah Blakely-Cartwright, Catherine Hardwicke
Fairy Bad Day by Amanda Ashby
Raw Blue by Kirsty Eagar (just finished this one and LOVED it)
The Samaritan by Fred Venturini
An enormous thank you this week to Scholastic, Little, Brown books for Young Readers, Penguin, Linds from Bibliophile Brouhaha and Kristy Eagar, and TLC Book Tours for sending me such wonderful books for review!
I also got Clarity this week and I loved it XD
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I hope you love Shiver. It's one of my favs. Fair Bad Day sounds like an adorable title.
ReplyDeleteI'm especially curious about Red Riding Hood. I'm a fan of Catherine Hardwicke as a director - I'm curious how she does with a book instead of a screenplay.
Oh, i want to get Shiver as well.
ReplyDeleteI've heard so many good things about it, and yet..I went through my months thinking linger was the first book in the series haha.
Awesome books [:
Awesome books! I have Shiver but haven't read it yet. I am looking forward to your thoughts on Raw Blue and Clarity. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy Shiver!
ReplyDeleteJenny,
ReplyDeleteShiver is one of my favorites! I hope you like it. And Fairy Bad Day sounds funny.
Awesome mailbox. Happy Reading hun. Hope you enjoy them all.
I don't know about the other books (although I have heard excellent things about Raw Blue--judging by your reaction, I'm thinking I'll read another great review for it) but I LOVED Shiver (SAM!) and I really really REALLY enjoyed Clarity. Clare's voice was snarky ;D (and once you finish it, I have to know what team you're on! Personally I'm team Justin-but who knows what'll happen in the sequel.... er, I'm getting ahead of myself).
ReplyDeleteHappy reading, Jenny!
I really loved Shiver (Kelli liked it okay)and that Red Riding Hood cover is so attractive! I think I need it :)
ReplyDeleteClarity looks REALLY good. I hope you enjoy it, and the rest of the books you received this week! Happy reading! :D
ReplyDeleteYou color scheme this week is blue, white and red. Can't wait to get my hands on Clarity. I have it for pre-order. I'm also really interested in Fairy Bad Day. Hope you enjoy them all!

*gasps* I can't believe you never read Shiver! Enjoy it, it's one of the best books I ever read. (I wish I could be a quarter the writer Maggie Stiefvater is.)
ReplyDeleteShiver's such a great book, I hope you enjoy it. I'm waiting to get a copy of Clarity too. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous I have had Raw Blue back ordered from Book Depository for ages. I really want to read that one. Cannot wait to read your review. Also I just had A Fairy Bad Day on my last WoW and am anxious to read it too. Hope you enjoy all your books!
ReplyDeleteI love the cover of Red Riding Hood - it's very creepy! I'm curious as to what the stories like.
ReplyDeleteI also have Shiver on my TBR pile... I will get round to it eventually! :)
YAY Raw Blue!!!!! I am so glad you loved it. It is one of my favourite books. Great stack of books :)
ReplyDeleteIs that a heart? It doesn't look a very healthy one =) Clarity and Red Riding Hood are two I'd love to get my hands on. I haven't come across the bottom three in the picture before.
ReplyDeleteRed Riding Hood looks like an interesting book. Can't wait to see what you think of it. I started reading Shiver this week. I can honestly say right now I am not impressed with it. I talked to some other people and they felt the same way about the first part of the book but they said to keep reading because it does get better and the second book is even better yet...:)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any Maggie Steifvater books yet, but I'd really like to, they look really interesting. And I'd really like to read Red Riding Hood, I love the cover, looking forward to your review!

Some fab books ;) Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteSuch fantastic books this week! :)
ReplyDeleteShiver was pretty good! I liked Red Riding Hood, but what bugs me is that it's not 100% finished. The final chapter goes up when the movie releases. The countdown is over at my blog and it's excruciatingly long!
ReplyDeleteHere's my IMM
Shiver is one of my favorites YA books !! I hope you'll enjoy it !! Happy reading ;)

Nice books! I am so in love with the cover and description of Fairy Bad Day. I enjoyed her other book about zombies and this one looks even cuter. I'll be looking forward to your review. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteGreat book haul! I am reading Red Riding Hood and have Raw Blue to read. I can't wait to see what you think of them.
ReplyDeletenice haul! The only book I have in that list is "Shiver" and I havent read it yet LOL
ReplyDeleteHow positively nice to run into my book in this blog post (I'm the author of "The Samaritan").
ReplyDeleteMy publisher gave me a "blog tour" list, so I was checking out lots of blogs and this one will be a nice addition to my bookmarks.
I'm excited for the release and since I'm going through the promotional experience for the first time, I wanted to drop in and say hello, and I'm excited that this will be a stop on the "blog tour."
And if the heart indeed looks unhealthy, that is definitely in the spirit of the book!
I have Shiver and it looks so good, but I haven't had a chance to read it yet. The Fairy Bad Day is such a cute title and all the others look really good!
