Today I'm excited to be a part of a really fun promotion for Exquisite Captive, the latest release from the fabulous Heather Demetrios. •    It ends at midnight EST that day (or whenever each blogger specifies).

EXQUISITE CAPTIVE

Forced to obey her master.
Compelled to help her enemy.
Determined to free herself.

Nalia is a jinni of tremendous ancient power, the only survivor of a coup that killed nearly everyone she loved. Stuffed into a bottle and sold by a slave trader, she’s now in hiding on the dark caravan, the lucrative jinni slave trade between Arjinna and Earth, where jinn are forced to grant wishes and obey their human masters’ every command. She’d give almost anything to be free of the golden shackles that bind her to Malek, her handsome, cruel master, and his lavish Hollywood lifestyle.

Enter Raif, the enigmatic leader of Arjinna’s revolution and Nalia’s sworn enemy. He promises to free Nalia from her master so that she can return to her ravaged homeland and free her imprisoned brother—all for an unbearably high price. Nalia’s not sure she can trust him, but Raif’s her only hope of escape. With her enemies on the hunt, Earth has become more perilous than ever for Nalia. There’s just one catch: for Raif’s unbinding magic to work, Nalia must gain possession of her bottle…and convince the dangerously persuasive Malek that she truly loves him. Battling a dark past and harboring a terrible secret, Nalia soon realizes her freedom may come at a price too terrible to pay: but how far is she willing to go for it?

HEATHER DEMETRIOS

I love books. I love writing stories almost as much as I like reading them. When I’m not traipsing about the world, I prefer to spend my time in imaginary places, living my What—maybe I’ll see you in one of them. I’ll be the one with my nose in a book and more tattoos than your mother would approve of.

  2. This book seriously sounds really good. It's something I'm in the mood for too.

As for the question ... I want to be able to write an amazing book that include all the tropes and types of characters I love.

  3. I would wish I could get all the books I want for free and at any moment I wanted them! Lol

  5. I have yet to read this, I'm afraid, but I WILL be reading it these days. I'm so very excited, I can't wait. I alredy own a copy, so not being able to enter isn't making me sad like it normally would. Unlike Pili, I'm not on a book buying ban, I doubt I would survive such a thing.

  7. I have been anticipating this book for so long. Exquisitive Captive is on my reading radar right now. The synopsis is just so eye-popping because I have never read a book about caravans and jinnis. If I came across a jinni, I would wish to meet all my favorite characters from books like America from The Selection or Celaena from Throne of Glass.

  8. I would wish to have all the books in the world that I would want to read, it might be a greedy wish but it definitely is a happy one. There are still a lot of books I want to read and buy (its a never-ending list!), sadly I can't buy all of them at once :(

  24. If the jinni could grant me one book wish, I would ask for the sequels the new books (published 2014) I've read this year! Waiting one year for a cliffhanger to be resolve drives me crazy! (So probably, either Winner's Crime, Heart of Betrayal, or the second Young Elites book)

  25. I did enjoy this one. Can't wait for the next book!

  26. A cure for cancer.
The ability to morph my body or make illusions! That would be super cool. I would never have to buy clothes or wear makeup. I'm terrible w/ makeup.

I just saw the coolest meme. I'd wish for more genies, lol
Just kidding, I'd wish for a barn filled with puppies, maybe?

  27. One Bookish Wish.... Endless Space to Store Books

  28. I'd ask for endless time to read my books without missing out on my daily life. As in, I'd still want to be able to do my internship and write and travel, but somehow, have unlimited time to read. Like a little reading room where time stopped when I entered. Like Narnia. Except I couldn't age in there (I'd probably forget the time and die in there).

Thank you so much for the giveaway; I'm so dying to read this!!!
