Skye first sees dark, charming Asher and golden, reserved Devin on the night of her seventeenth birthday. She has no idea what they want, or why they seem to follow her every move. They even know things about her that strangers could never know. Soon she begins to question not just the identity of the two boys, but also the truth about her own past. Skye's torn between the one she can't help falling for and the one she can't stay away from. The consequence of her choice will reach further than the three of them could ever imagine.

  1. I love the cover, and I own an ARC, but I just never got a chance to read it. But this playlist is awesome - great post, Jenny!

  2. I wish I was closer to a one of these cities so I can go! I'd so be there!

  3. I'm totally out of the music loop, haven't heard of any of those!

  4. I really enjoyed A Beautiful Dark! I looove Cold Play!

  5. Having a playlist while writing is like the soundtrack for a movie. great idea

  6. Oh that is an excellent playlist!

    I love Mazzy Star :)

  7. *whines* Enough with the North CO areas... I mean... really! ;) Would love to go to the TC one. *sigh*

  8. I'm with Melissa! Why don't they seriously move the tours more?! I wish they'd think AZ, it drives me nuts. Okay, so the dark days was here this summer, but besides that, it's been YEARS! I'm hurting for author signings! o_o

  9. Gah! They never come to the Carolinas! Why?!? We're book lovers, too! Oh, well. I'll have to read this book. Great playlist.

  10. It's so interesting to see how music may have shaped a story, by setting the exact right mood or tone the author was looking for or by sometimes taking them down a completely new road that caused brilliant results. I must dfeinitely check out these songs when I have a little more time.

  11. WHY SO FAR AWAY?!?!?!?!? NO FAIR!

In other news, I'm freaking loving that playlist. Anything with Flo on it is good by me :)

  12. I didn't know that A Beautiful Dark had a trailer. I just watched it and its pretty good.

  13. I love how unique all the artists are on the playlist. I will have to check out these songs now. =)

  14. I have to go and listen to some of those songs :) Since they are new to me

  15. I'm gonna check out that play list! I love to hear the songs writers choose for their books!
And I'm with Melissa, no where freakin' close!

  16. Oh gosh, if this book is resembles any of those songs, well, I am in for a treat! ;)
