Vacation Pictures!

Hey Everyone!

I went a little photo-happy and took a couple thousand pictures from our cruise of the Mediterranean, and since I figured you all might not want to go through all of those with me (O_o), I narrowed it down to some of my very favorites from each of our stops. Looking at them makes me want to go back even though it's nice to be home. I highly recommend this cruise to anyone that might be interested in traveling to Spain and Italy, it was a great way to see a bunch of different places in a short amount of time!

  7. Oh my gosh, WOW!

The scenery there is so gorgeous that it makes me want to pack up my bags right now and move there! And not only that, but those photos are absolutely amazing -- I can't believe you took them yourself! They look so professional!

Thanks so much for sharing the magic, Jenny! I'm really glad you had an awesome time! :)

  8. Gorgeous pictures! You are quite the photographer. I especially like your pictures of St. Peter's and the Almalfi Coast. The Almalfi coast is absolutely stunning. Were you able to visit Capri? I could spend a whole extra week there. Thanks for sharing your pictures!

  9. Those pictures are fabulous! I love your cathedral shots with the stain glass reflections on the interior. I always seem to visit cathedrals on cloudy days.

  11. Roxy - I absolutely adored Rome even though it was insanely busy. Walking through the ruins of the Forum is a memorable experience:)

    Jinky - Thank you!

Lily - Thanks! It was so much fun, I'm already thinking of going again next year:)

Daisy - The architecture in Barcelona was beautiful, I've never seen anything like Gaudi's work. Loved it:)

Kris - Thank you so much! I hope you do plan one:) I was anti-cruise initially, I thought I wouldn't like being on the boat but it was amazing. I think I'm going to be a lifetime cruiser now:)

Jordan - Thank you! I had so much fun wandering around with my camera even though it made me look like a complete tourist. Worth it:)

Mimi - Thanks so much! I was actually a photography major in college, so it was fun to get back to taking pictures since I don't do it much now:)

Christina - Thank you! It's pretty easy to take a good picture with scenery like that:) Amalfi was one of my favorite stops. We didn't make it to Capri, we opted to go to Pompeii instead and it just blew me away.

Jennifer - I was having a blast snapping all the stained glass reflections, they were just stunning.

Leanna - We did! I would have loved a little more time at some of the stops, you only have about 5 hours at some of them since the ports are sometimes 2 hours from the cities, but it was so much fun.

  16. I looked for hours (minutes) at your pictures trying to find a statue with its dangly bits exposed, but I was sadly disappointed. You were in Italy!

Seeing your pictures makes me miss Europe. I was primarily in Germany, but... it's gorgeous over there.

  26. I've only been to Barcelona, and tickles me to think that you've been there, too! I really, really loved the old part of the city. I can't tell you how many times I got lost while I was walking through it--not that I minded. If you're going to get lost, that's the place to do it!

  27. Those pictures are SO gorgeous! I want to go to Italy so bad. Hubby, while simultaneously bashing Italians, says we can go someday. Hopefully I can see all those beautiful places. It was funny because I actually checked this post last night from my cell phone (at 9:00 p.m. because of the three hour time difference) and my girls were like..."Mommy, we can't see the pictures, we want to see the pictures!" which then ended with Sherife yelling at me because she wanted to see the pictures and I wasn't obliging. So, your pictures are a hit not only with me but with my girlies. LOL!

It looks like you had so much fun!
