Cover Reveal: A Little Too Much

I recently read and reviewed A Little Too Far, a new adult release from Lisa Desrochers that thoroughly impressed me and made me crave new adult books once again after taking a much-needed break from them. After finishing the first book I was of course desperately craving the next, and today I have the pleasure of sharing with you the cover of book two, A Little Too Much!

*Note: If you don't want to know who Lexie from A Little Too Far ends up with, don't read the synopsis below as this book tells the story of the one she walked away from.

A LITTLE TOO MUCH
(releasing November 12th from William Morrow/HarperCollins)

In the follow-up to Lisa Desrochers’ explosive New Adult novel A Little too Far, Alessandro Moretti must face the life he escaped and the girl he loved and left behind.

Twenty-two year old Hilary McIntyre would like nothing more than to forget her past. As a teenager abandoned to the system, she faced some pretty dark times. But now that’s all behind her. Hilary has her life on track, and there’s no way she’ll head back down that road again.

Until Alessandro Moretti—the one person who can make her remember—shows up on her doorstep. He’s even more devastatingly gorgeous than before, and he’s much too close for comfort. Worse, he sees right through the walls she’s built over these last eight years, right into her heart and the secrets she’s guarding.

As Hilary finds herself falling back into love with the man who, as a boy both saved and destroyed her, she must decide. Past or future? Truth or lies?

LISA DESROCHERS

Lisa Desrochers lives in central California with her husband and two very busy daughters. There is never a time that she can be found without a book in her hand, and she adores stories that take her to new places, and then take her by surprise.

Look for her New Adult novel, A LITTLE TOO FAR , courtesy of HarperCollins Sept 2013, and the first companion, A LITTLE TOO MUCH , in Nov 2013. Also in stores is her YA PERSONAL DEMONS trilogy (Macmillan).

    1. It was a really challenging read in terms of both romances, but I thought it was so well done. I can't wait to read this book now!

  3. I'm not a huge fan of New Adult and I haven't even heard of this series, but I love the color contrasts on the cover, so maybe I'll give this a shot. Thanks for sharing, Jenny!

    1. Probably not the series for you if you're not a big NA fan. I took a long break from it, but this one made me remember what I liked so much about it:)

    1. Yes, I read too many when the genre first got really big, and I just felt like I was reading the same story again and again, but the first book in this series was definitely something different. Loved it. And all Cora Carmack's books. Highly recommend either of those authors to get you out of your funk!

  6. I'm not sure I like the cover very much (they are naked! not a fan of naked people on covers!), but I'm looking forward to the book though because I enjoyed the first one.
    Thanks for sharing, Jenny!

  7. I don't really read New Adult for some reason (I've read perhaps 3 or 4 and then just stopped), but wow, that cover is hot. I am very tempted, I admit it. :)
    Thanks for sharing this, Jenny.

    1. Same! I like books in a series to look like they go together without being the exact same design:)

  9. I actually like the silhouette, it gives the book a bit more mystery. :)

  10. I still have to read the first book!

  11. I love that its not too revealing. The silhouette makes it way better than what you'd usually see in this type of books, i.e. boobs and other body parts :P I can honestly say that I like this cover. Definitely need to read the first book first, tho! Thanks for sharing, Jenny! :)

  12. I think I'd prefer this if it cut off a bit higher - yeah, they're silhouettes, but obviously naked silhouettes.

  13. I'm still slow in coming to NA, but I really enjoyed your review of the first book. Oh looks like this will be another added to my wishlist.

  14. While NA hasn't quite captured me, I have to say that I really do like that cover! It's different - steamy - but subdued. It really works for me. Thanks for sharing this one, Jenny!

  16. Did not read the synopsis because I want to pick up the first one after your lovely review, Jenny! Glad to see the next one is coming soon! :)

  17. I love the silhouettes, very beautiful. Thanks for the spoiler warnings, I hate when a sequel/companion synopsis gives away the plot of the first book! Thanks for sharing :-)

  19. Oops. I probably shouldn't have read that description, but OF COURSE I DID, because I can never stop myself! Anyway, I'm still not sure whether I'll read these or not, but I'm glad everyone is loving them.
